This seminar forms part of the Social Care Research Project under the fourth round of the Higher Education Innovation Fund (HEIF4). It will address the following questions: 1) what do we know about supporting research use by managers and policymakers? 2) what are the challenges that efforts to support research use are striving to overcome? 3) what are some of the innovative strategies that are being developed and evaluated in the health sector?
This event is free of charge but entry is on a first come, first served basis.

Seminar on the implications of the Vetting and Barring Scheme for Employment Agencies and Business

The Department for Employment & Learning will be hosting a seminar on the new Vetting and Barring Scheme being put in place under the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups (Northern Ireland) Order 2007 (the 2007 Order). The seminar will provide an opportunity to set out the implications of the legislation for Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses.
