Government Advertising Unit
The Government Advertising Unit was established to apply specialist expertise to the management of government advertising to improve value for money and effectiveness in communicating with the public. It is funded and governed by the NICS Departments.
Campaign advertising is procured through the Government Framework for Campaign Advertising and Related Services
Background
The Government Advertising Unit was set up in April 2007 following a review of advertising policy.
The review highlighted a range of issues in relation to campaign advertising, classified advertising and internal management.
