Single Equality Bill
The legislation aims to harmonise existing anti-discrimination and equality legislation as far as is practicable and will update and extend existing provisions where appropriate.
The Minister with responsibility for equality John Spellar MP issued a report on 22 March 2005 summarising the responses received to a recent consultation on options for the Bill. In his statement
