Discrimination in Other Areas within Race
Discrimination in the provision of goods, facilities and services and in the letting, management or disposal of land and premises is also prohibited by this Order. In relation to discrimination on grounds other than those of race or ethnic or national origins these provisions do not apply to small premises. Private sales are also exempt as are fostering and boarding out in a family home. Discrimination by social and sporting clubs is also prohibited except where the main object of the club or association is to confer benefits on persons of a particular racial group defined otherwise than by reference to colour.
