Progess Funding
Call for PROGRESS applications to tackle 5 grounds of discrimination: race and ethnic origin, disability, age, religion or belief and sexual orientation
The European Commission has recently announced that PROGRESS funding is available to support awareness-raising activities in support of the European Community's anti-discrimination agenda. The UK’s applications will be considered by the Government Equalities Office.
The amount of funding available from the Commission to support organisations in the UK is €300,000 which can be used to support up to two projects. Proposals of all sizes are welcome for consideration by the UK; we may choose to nominate two proposals as the arrangements allow.
Activities must start in late 2010, and organisations can only apply for 80% of total eligible costs to be financed. The remainder of the costs are to be found from other sources.
Further information is available on the GEO website here:
Applications must be submitted to GEO by 3pm on Tuesday 4 May 2010.
