Consultation on Disability Discrimination (Northern Ireland) Order
The consultation on the draft Disability Discrimination (NI) Order ran from 31January until 25April 2005.

Addendum to the Draft Disability Discrimination Order
A further consultation on the draft Order was launched 3 August until 14 September 2005.
The consultation document sets out a proposal for a new Article to be inserted into the Draft NI Order. This Article encompasses changes made to the GB Bill during its passage through Westminster in relation to a new duty on public authorities.
The consultation consisted of a single document containing an introduction, the draft article, an Equality Impact Assessment and a Regulatory Impact Assessment.
A consultation report was prepared to address the comments raised by consultees.
