Improving Children's Life Chances - The Child Poverty Strategy
The Office of the First Minister and deputy First Minister (OFMDFM) published the Child Poverty Strategy 'Improving Children’s Life Chances' in March 2011. The strategy sets out the actions proposed by the Northern Ireland Executive to address the issue of Child Poverty.
Improving Children's Life Chances
OFMDFM aim "to provide the opportunity for all our children and young people to thrive, and to address the causes and consequences of disadvantage”. Our strategy is in line with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and our 10 year Children and Young People’s Strategy.
