The Crumlin Road Gaol transferred to the Office of the First Minister and deputy First Minister in August 2003.
Development of the Crumlin Road Goal
In October 2011, the Office of the First Minister and Deputy First Minister (OFMDFM) invited proposals from interested parties for a lease and regeneration opportunity for the development of A Wing at Crumlin Road Gaol. The period for submission of proposals ended on the 16 December 2011.
Lease and regeneration opportunity for the development of A Wing at Crumlin Road Gaol
The A Wing site which extends to three floors is in the ownership of the Department. The ground floor area extends to approximately 1171sqm.
The Department considers that the desired usage of this site would be best suited to commercial/light industrial.
