Project Title - Young Citizens in Changing Societies
Delivered by - Public Achievement
The project was led by Public Achievement, who support groups of young people to actively participate in the civic life of their communities.
The project’s aim was to develop an international programme, which resulted in the establishment of best practice methods in civic youth work in Northern Ireland, with young people and youth workers developing active collaborative relationships with their international counterparts.
Linkages were established with Finland, the Netherlands, the Middle East (Jordan, Palestine and Israel), the Balkan States, South Africa and the USA.
Project Title - Youth Work in Contested Spaces
Delivered by - Youth Council for Northern Ireland
The project was led by the Youth Council for Northern Ireland.
The project’s aim was to develop a body of knowledge around good practice in youth work to build the capacity of the youth work community in Northern Ireland.  It contributed to international best practice and in particular focused on preparing young people for life in a divided society and on conflict transformation and active citizenship.
Linkages were established with the Balkan States, Israel, Palestine and South Africa.
Project Title - Learning Together
Delivered by - Youth Action Northern Ireland
The project was led by Youth Action, a voluntary organisation that works with children and young people throughout Northern Ireland aged between 10-25 years to support them as active and equal citizens.
The project's aim was to complete a European Comparative Study on Young People and Rural Development involving partners in three other European countries. The project operates from Crossmaglen and Ballygawley - two rural border locations and the yough people and community activists from South Tyrone and South Armagh are the main beneficiary groups from a Northern Ireland perspective.
Linkages were established with Sweden, Latvia and Ireland.
