This project was led by Concordia, a consortium made up of trade unions (ICTU), business (CBI), agricultural sector (UFU) and the voluntary and community sector (NICVA) that its aims were to support social partner representatives develop common policies and explore international examples of best practice in order to drive forward social and economic development within Northern Ireland.
The project developed a trans-national programme to explore international models of best practice, to support social partnership representatives and to advance a common policy agenda on the development of social partnership.
Linkages were established with Sweden, Germany, Spain and Australia.
Project Title - Community Foundations in Divided Societies

This project was led by the Community Foundation for Northern Ireland (CFNI). It has established an international network of Community Foundations delivering peace-building, social inclusion, social economy and social justice grant-making programmes in divided societies.
The project’s aims were to share learning and develop models of best practice which could be implemented in Northern Ireland as well as encouraging other regions to learn from the conflict resolution experience in Northern Ireland. The Network also brought learning into Northern Ireland while enabling the outward dissemination of the NI experience in conflict transformation to other regions.
Linkages were established with Community Foundations in Eastern and Central Europe, the Middle East, South Africa, West Asia and Central/Latin America.
Project Title - Civic Leadership Project

The project was led by Mediation Northern Ireland and involves local civic leaders on a cross-community basis.
The project’s aim was to assist capacity-building of local civic leaders to Improve their ability to build better relationships within and between communities in Northern Ireland and to positively contribute to peace-building and good relations through learning from international best practice in the areas of policing and community relations and diversity and the city.
Linkages were established with Macedonia, Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, and USA.
Project Title - Linking Early Childhood Services at a European/International Level
Delivered by - Northern Ireland Pre-school Playgroup Association (NIPPA)

The project was led by NIPPA, the largest Non-Governmental Organisation working in the early childhood sector in Northern Ireland.
The project’s aim was to provide opportunities for early years services in Northern Ireland to share best practice at a European and international level through the establishment of an international network and to expose early year’s practitioners/staff to first hand experience in Italy and USA.
Linkages were established with Italy, Albania, Belarus, Belgium, Poland, Serbia, Croatia, Moldova, Latvia, Cyprus, Ukraine, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Palestine, USA, South Africa, Mali, Rwanda, Nepal, Papua New Guinea and Columbia.
