Project Title - Establishment of Local and International Mumming Networks
Delivered by - The Mummers Foundation

The project was led by the Aughakillymaude mummers from South Fermanagh, now known as the Mummers Foundation.  It has established a network of cross-community mummers drawn mainly from the local area and County Down as a means of increasing knowledge and understanding of a shared cultural heritage.  The project’s overall aim was to integrate this local network into a European network of masked festivals and carnivals that promote mumming plays and fertility rituals.  

Linkages were established with Bulgaria, Sardinia, Macedonia and Ireland.
